Positive Behaviour 4 Learning (PB4L) supports students to improve their behaviour, resilience and wellbeing. They help to create more positive home and school environments and deter bullying. By removing barriers to engagement, we improve students’ chances to achieve at school and beyond. Positive Behaviour 4 Learning is a major focus at Te Puke Intermediate.
1. Positive behaviour is a preequisite to improving the engagement and achievement of our students.
2. Positive behaviour can be learnt and difficult and disruptive behaviour can be UNLEARNT.
3. You cannot separate learning from behaviour. If students are misbehaving or disruptive in class, then they are not learning and achieving.
