Netball Academy

Te Puke Intermediate’s Netball Academy is all about excellence. The Netball Academy’s goal is to provide additional opportunities for our elite players to continue excelling in their netball while attending TPI. Students are selected on the merit of their application in terms of their history of representation, their skill base and their overall attitude on and off the court.

Students in the Netball Academy will be expected to demonstrate excellence at all times, at training, games, at school and at home. Students in the NA will be expected to consistently demonstrate our four school values of being active; being excellent; being respectful and being yourself. Consistently demonstrating our four school values will allow this group to be great role models for our Kura.

Our NA goal is to provide additional opportunities for our elite players so that these players can continue to excel in their netball while attending TPI. Once a week an external coach will run a 60-minute ‘skills development’ session where students will be excused from curriculum time to attend these fun weekly sessions.

If you have any queries about our Netball Academy please contact the School’s Director of Sport, cam.black@tepukeint.school.nz
